CARET Review Form

The Microsoft Word document below is the complete rubric used in preparing CARET reviews. The rubric exists as an interactive web form, but in practice reviewers have found it easier to complete draft reviews using the Microsoft Word version of the form as attached below. The Word files are exchanged as e-mail attachments during discussion and editing, and after reviewers reach consensus, the edited review is entered into the CARET database online.

The Technical Assistance Partnership Program (TAPP) is a resource of the State Educational Technology Director's Association in support of the U.S. Department of Education's Evaluating State Educational Technology Programs grants. These programs in Arkansas, Iowa, Maine, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin are conducting large-scale studies of the role technology plays in student achievement. The TAPP website is a dissemination and communication center for information about and among nine of the 10 ESETP grants.
