Reading List

The CARET Reading List is the current set of articles being read by CARET
staff and associates. Inclusion in the Reading List does not necessarily
mean that an article meets CARET review criteria or that it will be used as
evidence in addressing any of the issues in the
CARET Questions and Answers
area. It only means that the article has been identified for consideration.
Articles come to the attention of CARET in two ways. Some are identified
during literature searches related to answering specific questions. Others
are referred by staff, other researchers, or CARET users because of their
general prominence or significance.
Starting in fall 2002, CARET began using a preview form that requires reviewers
to classify
articles by type and to make a recommendation for inclusion in the
Reading List. All previewed articles and any articles that have been
selected for formal review or for use as
evidence in the Questions and Answers
area will have an assigned classification. CARET is in the process of
classifying all articles in its database.
To recommend articles for consideration, use the feedback form
("Contact
Us") accessible from any CARET screen.
