To help users read and interpret CARET research reviews and literature summaries, we have begun a Glossary of key terms. More extensive glossaries of statistical and technical terms are available under "Research Terminology Links" in the Resources area.

CARET Hosts Workshop at NECC (2/24/03)
CARET will host a half-day workshop at the National Educational Computing Conference in Seattle, WA on Saturday, June 28. Teachers, administrators and other educational decision makers are invited to bring real issues to a problem-solving forum. The CARET web site and other resources will be brought to bear on pending decisions. Following the conference, participants will be able to share and discuss results during the school year, and will have the opportunity to submit a group presentation proposal to NECC 2004. See the Advance Program for more details. Take advantage of low pre-registration rates through March 31.

CARET Presents at NECC (6/14/05)
CARET staff will present on "Shovels and Tweezers: Approaches to Using Research for Decisions" at the National Educational Computing Conference in Philadelphia, June 30, 2005, 1:30-2:30 in room 108A of the Philadelphia Convention Center. Users familiar with CARET may notice the “Find Studies” link is gone. That’s because we’ve expanded the ways you can search for the research-backed answers you need. As always, questions & answers (see upper left) links you with summaries of how studies address various educational technology topics. In addition, you can now choose search to find studies and/or questions & answers by key word or from pull-down lists of categories.
