Q: How can technology help to prepare students for the workforce?

1. Technology helps prepare students for the workforce when they learn to use and apply applications used in the world of work, such as word processors, spreadsheets, computer-aided drawing, website development programs, and the Internet.



2. Technology helps prepare students for the workforce when they are provided information regarding the use and benefit of technology and telecommunications for the workplace.

CARET is a project of the International Society for Technology in Education in partnership with Educational Support Systems. CARET was founded in 2000 with a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
